Terms of Use
Last updated:
Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) before using the CDL Practice Test Pro app (the “App”). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your own non-commercial study purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the App.
2. Price and Advertising
The App is free to download and use. It is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. An optional one-time in-app purchase removes ads; there is no subscription.
3. No Affiliation
The App is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), the U.S. Department of Transportation, or any state Department of Motor Vehicles. Practice questions are original content modeled on publicly documented federal CDL knowledge-test topic areas, not reproductions of any official item bank or state exam. Passing the practice questions in the App does not guarantee any particular result on an official CDL knowledge or skills test, and nothing in the App is legal, medical or professional driving advice. Official CDL requirements are set by the FMCSA and administered by your state’s licensing authority; always consult those official sources.
4. Intellectual Property
The App’s practice questions, explanations, user interface, design and code are our intellectual property.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the App's practice content matches the exact scope, difficulty or scoring of any official CDL knowledge or skills test, which vary by state. For the authoritative source, consult the FMCSA CDL manual or your state’s licensing authority.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any outcome on an official CDL test or in the licensing process.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, where the developer is established. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
