About the ASVAB
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is the test the U.S. military uses to determine enlistment eligibility and job (MOS/AFSC/rating) qualification. It covers several subject areas, including word knowledge, paragraph comprehension, arithmetic reasoning and mathematics knowledge; your scores on a subset of these combine into the AFQT (Armed Forces Qualifying Test) percentile that determines whether you can enlist, while your full set of scores determines which jobs you qualify for.
This app is an independent study tool: practice questions modeled on the ASVAB's subject areas, with plain-language explanations, so you can build speed and accuracy before you sit the real test at a MEPS or MET site.
Not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Defense or the official ASVAB testing program. "ASVAB" and "Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery" are used descriptively.
