CCSE España: Nacionalidad CCSE España Nacionalidad

Privacy Policy

Last updated:

CCSE España: Nacionalidad (the “App”) does not require an account and does not send your study data to any server. The App shows ads through Google AdMob; this page explains what that involves.

Information stored on your device

To make the App useful between sessions, the following information is stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device storage (no cloud sync):

  • Your settings, such as reminder time and test date.
  • Your progress: bookmarked questions, questions answered correctly or incorrectly, and counts of incorrect answers per question.
  • Theme preference (light/dark) and other interface settings.

This information is removed when you delete the App or clear the App’s data through your device settings.

Notifications

If you enable study reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device. These notifications are generated locally by the operating system on your device: no notification content is sent through any server.

Advertising

The App is free and shows ads through the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob), which may collect:

  • Your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android): on iOS only if you allow it in Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. Otherwise non-personalised ads are shown.
  • IP address, coarse location derived from IP, device model, OS version, language and similar technical data.
  • Ad interaction events (impressions, clicks) used to measure ad performance and prevent fraud.

Google acts as an independent data controller for the above. See the Google Privacy Policy. You can change the tracking permission at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security, Tracking, or reset your advertising ID in your Android settings.

Analytics and crash reports

The App uses Google Firebase for app analytics (for example which screens are used and how ads perform) and for crash reports. Google receives an app-instance identifier, device model, OS version, app version and, for crashes, diagnostic information such as the stack trace. We use this to keep the App working and to understand how ads perform, not to identify you.

Data we (the developer) do not collect

We do not ask for and do not receive your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise location. We do not sell data. The third parties that receive data through the App are Google (AdMob for ads, Firebase for analytics and crash reports), as described above.

Children’s privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. Because the App displays third-party ads, we do not knowingly enable ad personalisation for users under 13.

Third-party content

The App is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Instituto Cervantes, the Spanish Government or the Ministerio de Justicia. Practice questions are original content based on publicly available study material, not reproductions of any official test.
