Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) before using the Life in the UK: Citizenship app (the “App”). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your own non-commercial study purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the App.
2. Price
The App is free. There is no subscription and no in-app purchase.
3. No Affiliation
The App is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the UK Government, the Home Office, or any official Life in the UK test provider. Practice questions are original content based on publicly available study material, not reproductions of any official test. Passing the practice questions in the App does not guarantee a pass in the official test, and nothing in the App is immigration or legal advice. 4. Intellectual Property
The App’s practice questions, explanations, user interface, design and code are our intellectual property.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the App's practice content matches the exact scope, difficulty or scoring of the official test. For the authoritative source, consult the official handbook and the UK Government's guidance.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any outcome in the official test or in any immigration or citizenship application.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, where the developer is established. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
